International research projects

International research projects in the field of footwear, leather goods and tannery are activated every year. Some of these are born within the European Union and are financed with common EU resources. Other projects, on the other hand, originate within technology centers or consortia of companies and are developed with the support of public funding and/or private resources.

Simac Tanning Tech believes that it is important to offer its stakeholders - visitors and exhibitors of the fair - a constant monitoring of active projects and of the main results achieved in the footwear, leather goods and tanning sectors. This page of the website aims at promoting the knowledge of the research carried out worldwide in the footwear, leather goods and tanning sectors.
