MORE THAN 280 EXHIBITING COMPANIES, ON TOP OF BRANDS OF REPRESENTATIVE PRODUCTS, ON 13000 SQ M SURFACE AND 4000 ACCESSES WITH A GROWTH OF 57% FROM LAST YEAR’S EDITION.

NUMBERS CONFIRM THE INTERNATIONAL ROLE OF THE EVENT WHICH BECOMES MORE AND MORE AN EXHIBITING PLATFORM WHERE INNOVATION, SUSTAINABILITY AND DIGITALIZATION MAKE THE DIFFERENCE.

Milan, 27th September 2022 – A renewed trust and optimism in the near future, are the highlights with which the 2022 edition of Simac Tanning Tech comes to an end, the most important sectorial exhibition at international level, in terms of excellence and competence in technological solutions for production in the fields of fashion, automotive, furnishing and more.

Numbers confirm the positive trend, starting from 13 thousand square meters of space occupied by exhibitors. Italian companies are the first, however we can mention Turkey, France, Germany, Portugal, Brasil, Mexico, Spain and India between the 86 nations of origin of the visitors. Attendance of greater relevance and qualification in respect of the last edition, with more than 4000 accesses from the ticket boots of pavilions 14/18, in addition to which all the visitors attracted by the powerful synergy between the fairs which renewed this year and made Milan the vital point for the fashion supply chain.

The concurrence of these important fairs was a decisive factor which led to the success of the event, as well as the innovative products and applicative services presented in the multisectoral environment, which shared the objective of implementing productive ecosystems focused on economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Noteworthy, the presence of buyers and institutions from 16 foreign countries, that have attended the event thanks to the collaboration with ITA/ICE Agency. It was the progressive opening of international markets – except for China, indeed, and countries involved in the Ukrainian conflict – which represents a strong sign, confirmed by the presence of well-known countries next to new realities of the African continent.

Furthermore, Simac Tanning Tech offer was enriched by networking occasions promoted during ASSOMAC TALKS, organised with the objective of creating new engaging opportunities for the community, which involved prominent personalities part of the supply chain of the international manufacturing industry.

Simac Tanning Tech worked together with six leading fairs soonustry worldwide – DaTe, Micam, Mipel, The One Milano, Lineapelle and Homi Fashion&Jewels Exhibition – represented by the hashtag #finallytogether, working with the shared goal of creating a more cohesive system of fairs,  with a development path that follows closely the evolution of the market and all the needs of the buyers.
